Hi there! I’m Sam, a passionate card collector from Essex. I've been collecting vintage cigarette and playing cards for more years than I care to admit. I wanted to find a way to bring some of the most fun designs into your home in a contemporary style. That’s how Framed by SIMIUS (SIMIUS being Latin for Monkey) was born—a project to share my passion and love for these amazing pieces with you.
My Story
After spending over two decades in the fashion industry, I realised it was time to find a new passion as my love for fashion began to wane. Design and interiors have always held a special place in my heart, and that's where my journey began many years ago. However, I soon found myself swept up in the world of sequins and luxury.
When my own house could no longer accommodate any more picture frames and my beloved collection of cards deserved to be showcased rather than tucked away in a shoebox, I discovered a new love. I started creating these stylish framed images that beautifully blend nostalgia with a contemporary flair. It’s been a delightful adventure merging these two passions, and I can’t wait to share my creations with you!
