A Series of 50 No.37 Issued by Nicolas Sarony & Company in 1929, a tobacco company in England that was a branch of the United Kingdom Tobacco Company. Cards were distributed inside packs of Sarony Cigarettes. The pictures utilized color but only hints of it. The front had a cartoon image and the back was a clever limerick about the scene shown.
The limerick goes:
Said a man to his wife down at Sydenham,
My trousers where have you hydenham?
It is perfectly true That they weren't very new,
But I foolishly left half-a-quidenham.
